His family had to stay in Pakistan for ‘a few years’. However, Rashid’s family members later returned to Afghanistan. Rashid resumed normal life as he continued his schooling. However, now the Taliban have regained power, after which Rashid and his family are very worried.

Rashid Khan started his international career in the year 2015. He makes a lot of headlines for his charismatic spin bowling. Rashid has played 74 ODIs and 51 T20 Internationals so far, in which he has made 140 and 95 names respectively. Apart from this, he has also come on the field in 5 Tests and has managed to take 34 wickets. Rashid is one of the few players from Afghanistan who plays in many of the world’s biggest cricket leagues. He is a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
