On the fifth day of the ICC World Test Championship between India and New Zealand, Rishabh Pant once again made headlines for his remarks.

This time, Pant was seen instructing Ravindra Jadeja how to dismiss the dangerous looking Tim Southee, who scored 30 runs for his team. Even though captain Virat Kohli wanted fast bowler Mohammed Shami to take five wickets. Southee was scoring runs smoothly against the fast bowlers and helped the Kiwis take a lead of 32 runs. Kohli had to change his bowling and he handed the ball to Jadeja.

Southee hit a long six off Jadeja’s very first ball. When Pant suggested that the way Colin de Grandhomme was bowled, it should be bowled as well. Ravindra Jadeja followed Pant’s advice and bowled Southee to the Kiwi innings for 249 runs. The 23-year-old’s voice was captured on the stump mic, in which he was seen saying, ‘Jaddu bhai, who had put Grandhomme, he will have to put’. Before Southee’s wicket, Jadeja had troubled Colin de Grandhomme a lot. Pant was then seen encouraging Jadeja.

India-New Zealand match at an exciting turn

The World Test Championship final match between India and New Zealand has reached an exciting stage. In reply to India’s first innings 217, New Zealand’s first innings was all out for 249 runs on Tuesday. In this way, the Kiwi team took a lead of 32 runs on the basis of first innings. After this, the Indian team lost two wickets for 64 runs till the stumps on the fifth day and their lead over New Zealand has been 32 runs with 8 wickets remaining.
