On the other hand, Nicholas Pooran, who commanded the first West Indies team, has given an important statement regarding the captaincy. He says that captaincy is a very difficult job.

‘Leg spinner champion in T20 cricket’

Captain Nicholas Pooran said after winning the fifth match, ‘It is a great achievement. If we look at the previous series, we played proper cricket as compared to that. Windies had to face defeat 3-2 in the T20 series against South Africa. At the same time, Pooran praised leg-spinner Hayden Walsh for his excellent performance against Australia. Walsh took 12 wickets in the series. Pooran said, ‘Leg spinners are champions in T20 cricket. We are so happy for Hayden. He is working very hard on his bowling.

‘It’s a tough job to captain’

Pooran further said, ‘We wanted to win 5-0, but we won 4-1. Being captain is a tough job. It is more difficult when there is a lot of information to be gathered. Sometimes you can’t decide what is the right advice? This series was a good lesson for me. I am happy and grateful for the information shared with me. I learned different things and got a chance to see the game from the captain’s point of view. It is difficult to win a single player, as there are many legendary players in the T20 team. I am very happy for my team.
