Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday jokingly expressed his desire to work in Alia Bhatt’s production. She replied to Alia’s tweet announcing the start of her debut production venture Darlings. Shahrukh wrote, ‘Alia after this production please sign me up for your next home production film. I will be on time for the shoot and will be very professional..promise!’

In fact, Alia Bhatt posted a picture of herself getting her hair cut before starting work as an actor-producer in one of her tweets. The caption of the photo read, ‘Darling’s first day! This is my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first. I am very nervous in this matter. I don’t know what it is but the night before I start a new film… I get such nervousness and strange tingling in my body.. I keep dreaming all night.’

Darlings is being produced by Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.

Alia added in one of her follow-up tweets, “My words fumble.. jump.. arrive 15 minutes ahead of time fearing I’ll be late! I think this feeling will never go away… and it shouldn’t be – because feeling uncertain means that you really care.’

Replying to SRK’s tweet, Alia wrote, “Hahaha… what more can I ask for… Deal signed! Love you my favourite.’

Dark comedy Darlings is directed by Jasmeet K Reen. It stars Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles.
