New Delhi: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has defended Rishabh Pant, who was found to be Kovid-19 positive. The Virat Kohli-led Indian team was on a three-week break after the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in Southampton. During this, Pant enjoyed the Euro 2020 match by going to Wembley Stadium. Now that Pant is in the grip of Kovid-19, he has not gone to Durham with the Indian team, where preparations will be made for the upcoming five-match Test series against England.
The first match of the Test series will be played between India and England at Trentbridge from 4th August.
