Apart from this, matches will be played at Lord’s, Headingley, Kennington Oval and Old Trafford. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly defended Pant, saying that it is impossible to wear a mask everywhere. Ganguly said in an exclusive interview to News18, “We saw the Euro Championships and Wimbledon in England. Changed the rules (allowing spectators inside the stadium). Earlier, a BCCI source had told that Pant has come under the grip of Kovid-19 and is being isolated for the last 8 days. After Rishabh Pant, throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani also turned out to be Kovid-19 positive. He was staying at the team hotel during the break. Bowling coach Bharat Arun, reserve opener Abhimanyu Eswaran and wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha had to be quarantined in their hotel rooms for 10 days due to close contact with Dayanand Garani.
