Sri Lanka’s cricket board on Friday announced a cash prize of $100,000 for its national team for winning the T20I series against India. “The Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket commends the players, coaches and support staff for this much-needed victory and has decided to award $100,000 to the national team,” the SLC said in a statement.

Sri Lanka defeated the Indian team by 7 wickets in the third and final match of the T20 series on Thursday to win the match and also won the series 2-1.

Now the latest announcement has been made that the South African team will visit Sri Lanka in September. That is, just before the T20 World Cup. The South African team will play a series of three ODIs and three T20 matches on the Sri Lankan tour.
