Today in Cricket History, 20th July: Today’s date is very special for Pakistan in cricket history. Three years ago, on this day, Pakistan had scored the biggest score in their ODI cricket history. Of course, his record also came against a weak team like Zimbabwe, but he had recorded two records on that day in the record book. Apart from Pakistan’s highest ODI score, his batsman Fakhar Zaman (Fakhar Zaman) also played the biggest innings.

The Pakistan team was on a tour of Zimbabwe in July 2018. The fourth match of the ODI series played on that tour was played in Bulawayo. In the fourth ODI, Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and decided to bat first and his decision proved to be correct. The Zimbabwe team will never forget the havoc wreaked by the Pakistani team losing just one wicket.

Fakhar Zaman had now made that record in his name.

Fakhar Zaman returned not out after scoring 210 while Asif Ali remained not out on 50 off 22 balls. In reply, Zimbabwe’s team was reduced to just 155 runs in 42.4 overs, during which Pakistani spinner Shadab Khan took the maximum 4 wickets. With this, Pakistan won by a margin of 244 runs. This proved to be Pakistan’s second biggest win in ODI cricket by the margin of runs. His biggest win in terms of runs came in 2016 when he defeated another weak team Ireland by 255 runs.
