Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh Board, a 10-year-old boy has passed the 10th examination by securing 79 per cent marks. The prodigal child Rashtram Aditya Sri Krishna had obtained special permission to appear in the class 10 examination. Aditya, who turned 11 on October 17 this year, scored 82 in Hindi, 83 in English, 64 in mathematics, Scored 76 in Science, 84 in Social Science and 86 in Arts.
Mukesh Kumar Singh, District Inspector of Schools said, he is an exceptionally meritorious student and an inspiration to many people of his age and even senior students. Principal HN Upadhyay said, Aditya is an enthusiastic student, and quick to grasp any concept. He can solve the subjects even with his eyes closed.
The prodigal child Rashtram can talk at length on social issues
He is also well versed in yoga and can talk at length on social issues. He is an asset to our school. This is the second time that UPSEB has allowed a comparatively younger child to appear in class 10 board exams.
Earlier, child prodigy Sushma Verma had enrolled in class 9 at the age of five. After clearing the UP Board examination in 2007, she became the youngest matriculation pass in the country. Board rules state that a student must be at least 14 years of age to appear in the class 10 board exam.
