Russell has been a member of the two-time T20 World Cup winning team, which won the world title in 2012 and 2016. Apart from T20 Internationals, Russell has also played 56 ODIs. In ODIs, he scored 1034 runs and took 70 wickets. He has also played one test. He made his Test debut in the year 2010 and never again played in the longest format of cricket.
