Hafeez is 40 years old. He is physically very fit and is a part of the team. I am glad he is playing well. However, he is not in form at the moment. Had there been some other good batsman, he would have been replaced, but it is not so.

‘Batting doesn’t mean six off every ball’

Akram also explained how batsmen should play in the shortest format without losing their wickets. He said, ‘Batting does not mean that you have to hit sixes in every ball. For this, you have to choose your target bowler and then the spot. At the same time, you have to examine the situation with full senses. A coach will not tell you about the situation. It comes from the players’ own intelligence and they need to learn that.
