St George: South Africa defeated West Indies by 25 runs in the fifth and final T20 International on Saturday. South Africa batted first and scored 168 runs in the allotted 20 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. In reply West Indies team could score 143 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. With this, the Proteas team defeated the West Indies 3-2 in their home series of five T20 Internationals. Aiden Markram (48 balls, 3 fours, 4 sixes, 70 runs) was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant innings.

Chasing the target of 169 runs, West Indies did not have a good start. Opener Lendl Simmons (3) was sent lbw to the dugout by George Linde.
