New Delhi : Reliance Jio, the telecom company of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, launched the Jio Freedom Plan on Friday (June 11). Under this, 5 new no daily limit prepaid plans have been offered. This information is given on the website of the company. According to the information available on the company’s website, the plan with a validity of 15 days starts with Rs 127. Under this, 12 GB daily data has been offered without any limit. Apart from this, there are plans of Rs 247, Rs 447, Rs 597 and Rs 2,397. This plan is for 30 days, 60 days, 90 days and 365 days.

The Rs 247 plan comes with 25GB data for 30 days, the Rs 447 plan comes with 50GB data for 60 days, the Rs 597 plan comes with 75GB data for 90 days, and the Rs 2,397 plan Comes with 365GB data for 365 days. Sources said that with these 5 plans without any daily limit, more options will be available to the users. Sources said that the multiple validity of the new prepaid plan will be 30 days. The validity period of the erstwhile popular plan is 28 days. All the five plans offer fixed data. There is no limit on this on a daily basis.

All the plans come without any FUP restrictions on the data that a user can consume on a given day. Each plan includes a truly unlimited voice calling benefit and users also get complimentary subscription to several Jio apps. Also, each plan comes with the benefit of 100 SMS per day.

These new plans will allow users to consume maximum data in a day. With the Fair Use Policy (FUP) limit on data, the disadvantage for users is that if they need additional data someday, they will need to spend more by purchasing data vouchers. But the days when they don’t need a lot of data, their FUP doesn’t consume enough amount of data which gets wasted.

This is the reason why users who have fluctuating data requirements will appreciate this plan from Jio as they will still have voice calling benefits and SMS benefits, but will not have to worry about data.
