New Delhi : Do face masks obstruct your conversation, fog up your glasses and restrict airflow? LG Electronics has solved this. The company has launched a high-tech, air-purifying face mask with built-in mic and speaker, which gently amplifies your voice while maintaining proper air flow. The face mask named LG PureCare Wearable Air Purifier delivers superior comfort with a smaller, lighter and more efficient motor.

Battery will last up to eight hours

Weighing only 94 grams, the device can be comfortably worn for eight hours with a 1,000 mAh battery that charges in two hours via a USB cable, the company said in a statement.

Price of LG face mask not yet disclosed

LG has not yet disclosed the price of the face mask. The ergonomic design of the mask minimizes air leakage around the nose and chin to create a comfortable seal for hours.

Microphone and speaker in mask too

The company said that what the wearer will appreciate the most is the microphone and speaker made with Voyson technology. By applying this mask, users will not need to pull the mask or raise their voice to communicate.

LG masks have fans, which will make breathing easier

The LG DUAL fans in this mask make breathing easier and automatically regulate the air flow by sensing the user’s breathing patterns.

Beneficial for athletes, coaches and employees

The new face masks were worn by 120 Thai athletes, coaches and staff as they left Suwannabhumi Airport Bangkok for the Summer Games in Tokyo. The company said the device will be launched in Thailand in August, with other markets to follow after it is approved by local regulators.

LG first announced last year making the mask, which uses replaceable air filters and built-in fans to filter the air.
