Saint LuciaThe fourth match of the series of five T20 International matches is being played between West Indies and Australia on Thursday. Australia’s two stalwarts captain Aaron Finch (53) and all-rounder Mitchell Marsh (75) won the fans’ praise for playing brilliant innings in the fourth T20 International.
Both the batsmen together thrashed the West Indies bowlers and played shots in every corner of the field, taking Australia to a big score. Australia scored 189 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. In reply, West Indies team could score 185 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. In this way the Kangaroo team won the match by 4 runs and tasted their first victory in the current series.
Let us inform that in St Lucia, Australian captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat first. Mitchell Marsh’s aggressive innings continued even after the dismissal of captain Aaron Finch. However, he did not get good support from the other end. Alex Carey (0), Moises Henriques (6), Ashton Turner (6) were dismissed early. Mitchell Marsh scored 75 runs in just 44 balls with the help of 4 fours and 6 sixes. This was the third fifty of his T20 International career and the best score of his career. Allen ended Marsh’s innings by being caught out by Pooran.
