New Delhi : Google has announced that with Android 12, people will be able to play almost twice as fast, from downloading a game on the Play Store to launching it on your smartphone even before they download it. This new feature named ‘Play as You Download’ will give more power to Android game developers. At its Google for Games Developer Summit, which began on Monday, the company said it would take only half the time to jump to a game of 400 MB or more. The new feature is powered by Google’s Android app bundle format.

A recent Google Play study on mobile gamers shows that 45 percent of existing players have discovered more games than they did in the past year and developers are looking to seize this opportunity and drive sustainable development. Requires the right tools and insight. Google has also announced new solutions to help game developers unlock more development and navigate privacy changes effectively.

Last year, the company launched an in-app campaign for engagement (ACE) in Google Ads to help developers re-engage existing players. Soon, you’ll be able to use Target Return on Ad Spend (TROAS) bidding for ACE campaigns on Android, the company said. You can dynamically adjust bids based on the price each returning player is likely to take in-game action. Another Google study shows that 70 percent of current players are playing longer sessions than before the pandemic.

Google reports that ADMOB monetization solutions can help you leverage momentum to monetize your game. We are introducing new changes to Open Bidding that will give you more control and transparency over how you want to work with access to 200 plus real-time bidders. Open bidding is now generally available to all app developers.

Google said the latest improvements to the Privacy and Messaging tabs in ADMOB can help developers more easily understand regulations that may affect their business, and find tools to help them with their compliance strategy.
