Irfan Pathan said after completing the coaching course, the command of NCA is in safe hands

Bangalore: Players who represented Team India in the era of Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid 20 years ago are trying their hands in the field of coaching or are preparing to try. In these players, a new name has also been added to former all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who has worked as the captain, coach and mentor of the Jammu and Kashmir team in the Ranji Trophy.

Irfan has recently completed his Level 2 coaching course from the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. In such a situation, he has shared thoughts about his course experience in NCA and future plans. After completing the coaching course under Rahul Dravid’s supervision, when Irfan was asked about Rahul Dravid’s role in the NCA, he said that the best thing that has happened to Indian cricket in the recent past is Rahul. Dravid joining the NCA. I have a lot of respect for Rahul bhai. He has discharged this responsibility with full dedication and sincerity.

Dravid has again applied for NCA director
Dravid has recently once again applied for appointment as the director of the NCA. He is the only candidate to apply. In such a situation, Irfan further said, we all know how Rahul Bhai has worked with the Under-19 and India-A team, he met all the coaches during the course and shared his experience with them.

Learning from Rahul Dravid is a big deal in itself
Pathan said, getting experience from a person like him and a player of immense potential is a big deal in itself. But they do this work very easily. That’s why you have immense respect for them. It doesn’t matter whether you have played 1 first-class match or 100. They give you equal priority. Irfan further said, he had a clear message for me, he had many positive things to say about me because I can share with him personally and I have a good image in front of him.

Looking forward to coaching in IPL
When Irfan was asked whether he would soon be seen in the role of a coach in the IPL, he said that I am seriously thinking about it. I hope I get a chance to do this soon.
